| FETUS EATERS |
FETUS EATERS formed inside of a cess pool known as Burbank CA. by drummer Ed, bassist Erich & guitarist Ross.
It was originally given life to give them something fun to do during downtime from their other bands.
Soon after forming, they asked their friend & personal pin-cushion, Kevin, if he would like to scream for them. They hastily wrote some ditties, and called it a day. VOMITCORE WAS BORN.
One day Ed decided to book a gig, nobody showed up, so they booked another gig. Two people showed up, but were there to see another band play. They liked them though, and pretty soon people would show up, and the FETUS EATERS would insult all of them, because everyone knows that Vomitcore & brutal sarcasm were meant to be bed buddies. Through mutual friends (& fans), FETUS EATERS were asked to open for BENUMB, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, IMMOLATION, DEICIDE, etc.
Around the same time they recorded the crude 15-song demo "Do You Wanna Get Pregnant?". Soon after, they followed up that recording with another 6 songs for the "We Win" / Split 7" demo. Word began to spread like an airborn virus. FETUS EATERS passed out tapes at local shows, through the mail, and at a few Metalfest's in Milwaukee, Texas & New Jersey. World wide attention was now knocking on the lords of Vomitcore's door.
One lucky recipient of a FETUS EATERS - demo, was Didi, of Austrias Hammerwerk Records, who opted to press a 7" for FETUS EATERS.
In the meantime, letters kept pouring in from people all over the world who had received flyers, or had seen reviews of the demos.
They also started getting requests to be part of comps (TORTURE AT THE SPEED OF SOUND, RIOTIOS ASSEMBLY, SICK NOISE, SHORT-FAST & LOUD, etc.).
FETUS EATERS played the recent South-West Fest in New Mexico with BENUMB, NOISEAR, CATHETER and 30 other bands from all over the U.S.. They were received well by the New Mexicans.
FETUS EATERS have just released a 21 song CD, "VOMITCORE" with newly recorded versions of some of the demo tracks, and a few new visceria soaked ditties.
FETUS EATERS will now contine there plan of global debauchery through small, calculated tours, and a contiued assault on the Metal underground.
